This place is the worst! If you lose your credit card and don't remember to update with them they charge you a $25 fee, no grace period just a charge on the due date. A credit card decline cost them nothing they can easily contact you with a reminder but they don't I find it immoral. I award you negative stars and may GOD have mercy on your soul. By the way, the Owner is full of it, in the response below he said he or someone would reach out to me, never happened. Just trying to cover up for his poor service.

Beware fee scam. During the three months the gym was closed due to COVID I lost the credit card that my account was charged to. When billing resumed they were unable to charge the fee as the card number was invalid, so they emailed me that I was charged an additional $25. So I emailed the gympayments email and told them to cancel my account. They did not reply, but instead continued to charge monthly fees and $25 penalties. a few months later I received a collection notification $275 which i disputed as I canceled as stated above. The collector sent back a copy of the contract and stated that I owe the money, the contract stipulated that you must pay the amounts owed plus another month and a cancelation fee, so I sent a check for that amount. I received a letter back stating that they do not accept settlements and they are going to report it on my credit. Therefore I filed an action under the Fair credit reporting act against them and the collection agency today, it is my understanding that a false filing by a company can result in a $1,000 finer payable to the aggrieved party so I would recommend that any with the same issue make a similar filing. To the owner who may make a hollow reply don't bother saying that you "looked up your account and someone will be reaching out to you" That lie was a reply to my husbands bad review and you NEVER contacted him. I can only surmise that you reply that so would be customers will think you care to resolve issues with your many dissatisfied customers

The gym staff are great, very pleasant people. The organisation is terrible, and not deserving of your money. Go somewhere better, because I don’t know if I’ve ever worked with a more unpleasant group of people in my life. I’m a high school student right now, and I was starting weights, so I went to cancel my account because I wasn’t sure when I’d end up going back. Well, it wouldn’t let me because I had a “past due” amount. Come to find out the gym hasn’t been charging my card, and they haven’t charged me at all. They have my card information, and I’ve used the website multiple times to try and process a payment, but nothing has happened. It will say “pending payment” and nothing happens. I updated my card info, figuring there was just something wrong with my info and tried again. Still nothing happened, so I called their support staff. I waited on hold for God knows how long, and then tried to leave a voicemail. Lucky for me, when you try to leave a voicemail, the call just hangs up. Then their automated system called me and wanted me to update my card info. I did, and all I got was an error (because they already have the correct card info). I’ve tried off and on for months now to try and pay my past due so I can just f***ing cancel my account, but the system keeps f***ing me over. Please, just go to another gym and don’t give these people money they don’t deserve

I notice that this gym is getting a lot of bad reviews lately, so I am not the only one with bad experiences with the staff etc. I read a review were the owner said he will contact the member, and the member review stated he was never contacted. Did the owner ever contact the others giving bad reviews I wonder?

As an avid gym-goer for several years, don't take it for granted when i say that the folks here at VASA Fitness are some of the absolute best gym staff I've dealt with anywhere in the US. They made me feel at home in short order, giving me that little extra confidence boost to have a truly killer workout there every single time.
