This really isn't much of a park. There is a playground with swings and slides for little kids but just know that it does not have public restrooms or drinking fountains. You can bring your dogs but they must stay on leash.

Lots of grass and shade. 2 picnic tables and a sandy path.

This park is always pretty quiet, never crowded with large groups of people. And when I do see others there beside myself it is almost always one or two people either walking/playing with their dog, or a family over at the Children's Play Area watching as the kids run around playing. I feel like the park is always in great condition and well taken care of, for example the trash cans are never full or overflowing, but must be emptied very frequently. Also, the park itself is very clean with no trash littered all over, no cigarette butts on the ground everywhere, and no graffiti sprayed anywhere. I feel like my best time spent there is when I go there to get some quiet time alone and I like to write in my journal. There is a perfect spot for me to just chill there and write at one of the two separate picnic tables available for visitors to sit at. I prefer the table closer to the street, further from the playground. Both tables have awesome trees providing shade along with all the other trees around the park. It's comfortable to be there and quiet and the back end of the park is separated by a chain link fence with an elementary school baseball field on the other side. So being that close in proximity to a school I feel like it adds to the security aspect where I feel like the park doesn't attract trouble as much as maybe others might because of the school, as well as the fact both the school and park are located in the Greek Track which has a close knit community that connect and communicate together regarding neighborhood issues through a sort of neighborhood watch type website called Nextdoor. It's a charming little gem hidden from the main road but I would recommend visiting if you find yourself in the neighborhood.

Nice little neighborhood park. plenty of shade. Only 2 benches and restrooms are not available. If you want to B.B.Q here, you meed to take your own girl and chairs. oh and go the bedroom before you leave your house.
