If you're a history buff at all and enjoy mechanical things and or especially railroads this is a must stop if you're in the area. This is got to be I'm just guessing one of the coolest train round houses museums in the nation. They still operate several of the cars and engines and if you're lucky enough to get a private one-on-one tour there's so many things to know. Barbara was my host and was wonderful :-)
There is an entrance fee and not much to look at.
It wasn't all the way open
Nice, quiet place with the volunteer staff eager to tell you about the trains and how they work. Very accommodating. Its non profit foundation so please visit and enjoy a train ride. Dog friendly!
