This is a great location for kids to wreckreate and skates as well as try and improve their craft in the Skate World it is a good thing that Porterville put this skate park in. I hope that they do expand it and or put another one on the east side of town for those who do enjoy to skate also
i love it but they can do better
Crowded. Last time i was there i was almost hit by a gas powered rc car as the kid launched into the hole without checking if anyone was in the whole. Yesterday i got hit in the ankles with a rouge skateboard as i was walking out. Visalia skate park is way better. Bigger, cleaner and kids seem to be more respectful of others.
I love that it gives a place for the kids to go, and do something fun for free, that's also outside contributing to bring healthy and active....verses sitting in front of a screen all the time
The skatepark is the best
