If you are a former or current Amazon employee, I suggest you look elsewhere for legal advice/assistance. Kristi was quick to take my money, however the paralegals working for her and Kristi herself were not responsive regarding questions I would ask regarding my case. In end, Kristi was unable to secure the outcome I wanted (which is fine, I completely understand that there are no guarantees), however I feel that Kristi could have done a better job at not taking on cases that she felt she would not be able to successfully win (she mentioned this to me in my initial consult... so why take the case... esp. if she is so overburdened with more important/higher value cases).nnOverall, it isn't the outcome of the situation --I understand that not all cases will be successful; I just feel mislead by Sapphire legal, that my case was not prioritized (because it was not a high stakes case), and that overall communication was weak (emails were not responded to, questions I asked were not answered, and follow ups/updates not provided).nnTl;dr - It's clear from her website, that Kristi markets herself to Amazon employees, If you are one I highly suggest you find yourself another employment attorney so you can avoid wasting your money and having an experience like I had (described above). Best of luck to you Amazonians out there!nnUpdate: I noticed that kristi replied to my initial review. She emailed me privately after reading it and I replied to her email and have not yet even gotten a response from her. I offered to take this review down if I had gotten a reply and still will but if this review is still up it means that the lawyer has not replied to my emails which is just a bad practice.

Do NOT hire if you want to win your case. She simply FAILED US- I should have gotten the message when I waited waited 3 weeks to meet with her (she was in California on a case) and she never showed to our initial meeting. Her assistant Michele had no idea where she was as she frantically called Kristi but she didn’t answer her phone. Michele was embarrassed covering for this obvious careless behavior. I agreed to meet another time after patiently sitting for an hour. Kristi would also be a no sho later at her own open house to celebrate her first year in business. This firm struggles with staffing issues constantly and loses Information and often forgot the reason for Our lawsuit. I don’t expect her to be proficient in commissioned positions in the auto industry but she simply didn’t even try to understand, she didn’t call with questions ever. She simply sent out a 400k demand letter with no evidence or understanding of the claim and was simply laughed at by opposing counsel which she crumbled under. Her “team” was absolutely Horrible with communication which caused us to fail to meet critical deadlines. She frequently traveled to other states like California for (i assume) Big money cases and simply can’t be troubled with anything less than million dollar paydays... She is quick to lock down a retainer then closes your case shortly after claiming she doesn’t have enough information to pursue the claim. She does not conduct investigations nor subpoena records again mocked by opposing counsel. So now I am left a letter - not a phone call that’s she closed my case and now it’s beyond time allotted to file a claim with new counsel... . ABSOLUTELY reckless and a joke to the legal system.nBuyer be warennResponse to respons:nI absolutely LOVE how this was replied to within hours yet my inquiries with the firm had no urgency. I appreciate her confirming my “false” accusations of frivolous travels and relying on a un tested one off database system to manage clients- sounds like there’s some “bugs” to work on. I appreciate that she admits to having “no facts” because she failed to do her job. I simply cannot ask a company to hand me their invoice records for 2 years to support my lawsuit of unpaid wages and theft against my commissions.nI appreciate that she confirms she closed my case after only sending 3 letters over 1yrs time with no resolution because she failed to “conduct an investigation “ as requested by opposing counsel.nnThank you

Kristi is truly amazing, I can't even begin to explain how impressed I have been by her and by Sapphire Legal. She has a keen eye for the details frequently picking up on little things others miss. She's compassionate, caring, respectful, always helpful, and has a truly encyclopedic knowledge of the law. No matter how busy she is, she has always taken the time to answer my questions in detail and explain her reasoning. Kristi solved what I thought were impossible legal matters while exceeding all of my expectations in every area. I consulted with 3 law firms on my case and they did not want to takemy case. Kristi at Sapphire listened to me and took on my case. She is energetic, positive and will work hard for you. If you are looking for positive results get in touch with Sapphire Legal.

I would recommend Kristi to anyone looking for legal services. Kristi did a wonderful job on a couple very specific contracts for my employer. She got them done efficiently & our office will definitely be using her services again.
