I do not typically give one-star ratings. I believe a store has to really do poorly to receive one; Raley's is a one-star store.nI grew up less than a mile from this place, and let me tell you, in 20+ years nothing has changed. The prices are high, which is understandable--it creates an environment that attracts customers who can afford to spend more. It's the same concept as going to Target over Walmart to receive a better quality of customer care.nRaley's fails to provide the customer service that their prices suggest. It takes forever to receive any type of help unless you're in the bakery. Also, 15-minute wait times to checkout is unacceptable. They have no care for their checkout times and it has been this way forever. It should NOT take 15 to 20 minutes for 5 cashiers (the same cashiers who have been there for years) to ring up lines of 3 people each.nI do not think I will continue to shop at Raley's when places such as Winco are just as close, and provide better customer service and checkout.
Good quality nice deli and bakery. Groceries priced on the high side.
Rakey's Deli is the BEST in Modesto! Great customer service, no wait, and special care to wrap your Muenster CHEESE! There the Best!
Great friendly service. But you have to clean cart unlike Safeway in My town.
