What year old and I sit in the parking lot and watch the planes come in sometimes. It’s nice and quiet.
I like this airport. The airport manager is probably the nicest guy there, because he isn't working his butt off just to barely eek out a profit margin. Therefore, he can relax a bit and take time to be nice to others. Not to say he doesn't work hard... just, he doesn't have to play hardball just to get by.nI think he's the most instrumental in putting together the annual air show in early October each year. That's what I really enjoy seeing.
Nice little country airport. Fuel at decent prices and an active EAA Chapter. I learned to fly here and still fly here 24 years later.
Great quiet little airport. Best prices on 100ll around.
