Temelec Hall was erected in 1858 by Captain Granville P. Swift, a member of the Bear Flag Party, using stone quarried here by native Indian labor. General Persifor F. Smith, U.S. military Commander-In-Chief in California, lived in the little house nearby in 1849.

A glimpse of architecture from 1860's. Peaceful grounds allow your imagination to wonder what life was like then...nnPrivate Property YOU MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A COMMUNITY HOMEOWNER

A true Pioneer of the West built this Estate and it is a sight to behold. Especially in a late Summer afternoon. Peace

You have to go there with someone who lives in Temelec. Need a key to get in the gates.
