This trail is beautiful and tranquil. Access the trail from stony point, you can park behind the guard rail next to the mouth of the trail. The beginning of the trail can be muddy in the wet season, but once you are around the bend the trail opens up to a view of many farms and is very peaceful and warm. You forget quickly that stony point is around the corner. I’ve seen many birds including hummingbirds and migrating geese. The trail has signs to tell you about the ecosystem of streams, the flora and fauna, and the interaction of humans and farming. The trail continues until it crosses over the stream. The trail is about 3 miles to the end and back.nUpdate: on the dry season, the concrete bridge across the Laguna is exposed and you can cross and walk back on the other side.
