This place is the slice of life everyone needs. You will be greeted warmly by locals, then be greeted with unfathomably beautiful views. The water here is cold (45° in late November), and the waves can be brutal, but if you're brave (or stupid) enough, you'll try to jump off the cliffs at the edge! Call me what you will, but I tried it and had a blast. As long as you know how to swim, you'll be fine, just jump more towards the beach!nnOther than that, people come here to rock out some tunes, smoke peacefully, and enjoy the weather of one of the greatest cities in America.

I've lived near it since 1976. Currently creating original techniques to depict it. I'll donate some to site to sell.

This place had a decent-sized parking lot which was absolutely free on busy days you might have to wait for someone to leave and get a parking but this place is well worth it lots of views and a nice little lighthouse that talks about the history of Santa Cruz and surfers and besides all that there are small trails along the cliffs just be careful because many people have been hurt because they are not careful overall this is a really nice place to bring your family and watch the sunset or bring a friend and just hang out and have a really nice time I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a nice relaxing time

Another lighthouse in Santa Cruz, from where you can watch surfers. There is also a museum located here. You can view beautiful coastline in Santa Cruz, also Santa Cruz board walk is visible from here.

A nice short drive out of santa Cruz will get you to lighthouse point where you can enjoy the views of the sea and watch the surfers. The little tourist trap shop is curated well, and has some interesting memorabilia on display.
