It turns out that it does if the clause “per stripes” is included. But we had not thought of that in the original Will that we drew up: there was no provision for that eventuality.nnThis process made us realized that we needed to update our Benefactor list and to re-do other documents such as our Medical and Financial Powers of Attorney, and our Health Care Directive.nnThroughout this process we made numerous changes as we thought through what our wishes are. Michelle was extremely patient with us, but most of all, she was quick in getting back to us with her revisions.nnIt was a daunting enterprise in some ways, but we are glad we went through with it.
