That’s a fun train travel for my kid.nnTickets: you may purchase tickets online in their web, $33 per adult, $24 per kid (2 to 12 years old)nnParking: $10 for a car, you can buy it with your train tickets togethernnProcess: the staff will check your parking fee at the entrance of parking lot, you’d better wear the mask before you enter. Then pass through the bridge and walk a little, you will be waited for check in with your tickets information. Then not far from the check in window, the boarding sign will be in your sight.nnTrain travel: the whole journey is about 1.5 hours with introductions about redwood. The left side of cabin is the better choice if you would like to take photos.nnAfter taking the train, you may look around of the park. There are outdoor shopping, sheriff’s office, and Santa! You may warm yourself with a cup of hot chocolate for free, and take a picture with Santa by keeping social distance. The kids may enjoy snow bubble at the exit of the Santa house!nnThe blacksmith will show customers how she made a iron tool, and some knowledge about iron! She could speak Mandarin and Japanese which is amazing!nnAll stuffs wear a mask, and sanitizer is available for you at the entrance of the park. Nice day!

We had a fantastic time during our train ride! The ride itself was interesting, but the conductor, Charlie, really made it fun. He was amusing and knowledgeable, we learned about steam engines and train tracks, as well as the California forests and redwood trees. We were disappointed that most of the fun things around the little logging camp were closed, but that's not the employees fault, they were nice. We'll definitely go again when our family comes to visit.

I really wanted to absolutely love this place but it was definitely more expensive than it should have been. The pumpkin patch isn’t even a pumpkin patch more like a little square where you pick up a pumpkin. There’s not much to do beside the train and the scarecrow. Paid about 121 for my husband and I plus a toddler. Train ride was pretty but not a big deal. Won’t come back unfortunately

Train ride is a lot of fun.nI was saddened and concerned when I saw, in person, how extremely unhealthy the forest is. Most of the trees are woodpecker infested. There is extremely thick and dead underbrush. The trees have not been thinned out. This forest is a tinder box! Save the old growth redwoods and human lives by doing responsible forest management.
