So lucky to have this winery in our backyard! I love big reds and these wines are the best of the best. Lots of great outdoor seating areas with big comfy wine barrel chairs. The little valley that EmmaLily sits in has great views of the surrounding oak covered hills and is so peaceful and serene. I would suggest bringing a picnic, because you're not going to want to leave. The owners are so nice and gracious. Cheers
EmmaLily has everything we could want in a winery. The winemaker is present and engaged with all who visit. He and his wife are warm, fun and gracious hosts. Their reds are equal or better than what you can find in Napa, without the snooty feel or ridiculous tasting fees.nPack a picnic and enjoy your visit, because you will want to stay awhile.nThis winery has all the feels - beautiful and serene setting, great hosts and wines you will love.nOpen the 3rd weekend of every month.
I have been coming here for years and the new winery is beautiful! Every single pour is excellent so it’s hard to choose a favorite. The owners, Steve and Laura, are fun, friendly and informative. Kid friendly because there is lots of area to explore - vineyards, windmill, little green barn and animals - goats, horses, pony and two pot bellied pigs.
EmmaLily Vineyards is a beautiful winery and should not be missed when visiting Morgan Hill. Their cabs are excellent, and the winemakers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely my favorite winery in the region!
Napa quality wines in South Silicon Valley!?! If you love big Napa cabs, and cab blends, plan a visit to scenic backroads of Morgan Hill. Beautiful new winery and lovely grounds. Plenty of room to spread out for a socially distanced afternoon. Open third full weekends of the month but in these times of COVID, you may want to check first with the winery to see if reservations are needed.
