This hike is good for all skill levels. But some parts of the trail was closing for the construction. It is no shade, but it’s nice to walk along the bay, listen to the sound of the nature, and get some fresh air.nNo need hiking gear, hat is needed.nBut it can be windy, check with the weather before you go is the best.nHappy hike.

A beautiful quite park located at the most southern tip of San Jose, running along sloughs and estuaries. Nice walkable trails, some for walking and some for biking. Dogs are allowed in some areas, please take note of the signs. You can also bring your own kayak and motorized boat as there is a boat launch. On this day there were no rangers present nor were there any type of monetary fees collected. Please keep this park beautiful, it is quite a gem as is the neighborhood.

The place has nice scenic views but there are too many mosquitoes and other insects. It has decent parking space. There is a nice view of train passing along the park which you will love if you are into trains. There are quite a lot of birds and if you are lucky enough you will be able see all of them flying together ,it is a beautiful view. The wooden model doors are perfect for photo ops. There is a decently long walkway along the bay that you can enjoy as well.

It's a beautiful area and view, but currently some of the trails are closed for construction. The parking lot is a good size, and the area seems good. There's a nice large concrete step area that's good for sitting and picnics where you can look at the view. This area is primarily walking, boating, and fishing.
