Took my 5th grade class to watch the Earth, Moon, and Sun show. Staff was good and informative. Video was a bit all over the place. Lots of information regarding constellations. They have discounts for Title 1 schools which I was unaware of until the day of.
Had been there some say 45/50 year's ago on when De Anza was built.nTook a few classes BUT the Planetarium was GREAT...nI'm deciding on seeing it Again...nFrom the showing back then too today's New findings...
Hadn't been to a planetarium or laser show for years first time going to the shows here. Was relatively blown away. Been to many shows since. The technology has impressively advanced and each show is rather unique.
I am grateful to have Fujitsu Planetarium in the bay area! The director and his staff go beyond to create highly memorable and educational experiences for everyone. Our 8th grade students attended a field trip that was just perfect! First there was a short introduction to the current start conditions, then we watched a movie about exoplanets, then they created a very informative display of our solar system, and even added more information when requested. If you're thinking of taking your students to Fujitsu Planetarium for a field trip, do not hesitate to sign-up!
A hidden gem inside De Anza college and great for kids. Some of their links are broken, but they do have an online calendar of events.
