It's not New York, but it's ok

Remembering to have many lovely evenings here. Before entering this place, I never guessed that this big and beautiful drop of nature can exist here [surrounded by all apartments and residential area]. I am not into the craze over the fireworks in here, but when I came here first time to watch that, I really liked it. Recommendation is not to miss the cultural and season events here, specially the ice rink thing. Also this place is good for kids I guess, but not commenting on that part yet.

Nice place to spend few hours with little ones!nThere are tote playground with sandbox and cute little bridge in one side, pond with ducks in another, close to Santa Clara Central library ( it's closet to visitors now, but when it was opened there were cute cafeteria with cookies and coffee and tea!) .nAnd there is another playing space for kids - it's wooden and a bit high, but really good for climbing for kids 5+.nAlso there are two restroom next to both playgrounds, and two large picnic areas and one small picnic area.nLove that park!

Peaceful. Not too many people. Fresh air, not too big or too small. Lot's of space for kids to run and play. Not a whole lot of equipment but there's enough for the kids to play and for parents to read a book or hang out and chit chat.
