Such a great new facility the inside is just as stunning as the climbing walls within. There is ample bouldering which makes this a great spot to visit as you won't get bored with the same old climbs like the other gyms (im looking at you Belmont). The inside is always clean as well as the weights section being nice and neat. Kyle the gym director is also a great person and the right guy for the job. 5 out of 5 stars cannot stress how much I love this new Planet Granite

It's so fun that the gyms finally opened! This place is huge and new. Great setting with plenty of new holds. The large space is also great with young ones. Staff super nice.

Great bouldering! The routes are great, they rotate often, and the gym doesn’t get as packed as PG Sunnyvale used to. Overall a lot of fun. Can’t wait for them to re open!

First time back since March. I think they’re doing a good job with capacity given how much space they have. I’m sure it changes depending on the day and time, but from 5:15-7pm on a Monday it seemed like about 20%-30% of people were using the conditioning area at any given time. Lots of sanitation stations, plenty of space to spread out (even if all the good areas can get a little congested - 4-5 people), and generally the same problems they had up when they closed. They put up ropes on the walls to create zones and state no more than 1 person can be climbing in a zone at a time, which I like.nnA few other things:n- reduced cardio equipmentn- obviously no showers or changing/locker roomsn- they ask everyone to clean equipment before and after use, another good thingn- airdyne, rowers, barbells, etc are all still usable (except a few airdynes have their seats removed, probably to help promote distance between people)nnI think the sanitation measures are good but it’s really the limited capacity and our adherence to the symptom screening, social distancing and wearing appropriate masks (e.g., not buffs) that will keep these facilities from closing again - in and out of the gym.nnSafe climbing!
