I first went to the owner of Movement Miracles by Appointment, Estie Golan, for relief of numbness and tingling in my hands. I had numbness and tingling in my hands, and trigger finger in both thumbs and in the little finger of my left hand. I went through Kaiser and had good results with cortisone shots and physical therapy, but my symptoms kept coming back. I was considering carpal tunnel surgery and decided to try bodywork before surgery. I now have complete relief of my symptoms and will not be having the surgery.nnEstie observed the way I stood and held my body. She showed me how the way I was holding my head was contributing to the discomfort in my hands by the way it affected my shoulders and upper back. Estie even came out to my car and showed me ways to adjust my seat and steering wheel to better support my hand health. Through a combination of massage, suggested exercises and new awareness, my symptoms began to feel better within a few days.nnI continue to see Estie for body work on a regular basis because I always feel better afterward.
