Absolutely amazing place and experience here. The alpaca are of great variety and funny to interact: watch them standing, watch them play, watch them staring back, feed them, hug them.nnThe owner clearly knows Chinese guests are bringing in popularity and he knew that the alpaca are called cao-ni-ma in Chinese.nnThe scene where all alpacas are herding back to the house from all fields in early evening is a must-see :)

If you love alpacas then this is the place for you! For $25, you can spend about an hour feeding, playing and taking pics with these furry animals. This place is a bit hard to find. Google maps has taken us to the wrong location both times so be sure to follow the directions on their website. For the 1st half of the tour, you will be given a handful of carrots to feed the alpacas. Following the feeding, you will be taken to a different area of the ranch to meet a different group of alpacas. You will have plenty of photo ops. It is a lot a fun and worth a trip to Carpinteria for this!

Spectacular experience! We actually arrived late due to terrible traffic but the tour guide extended the time so that we were able to spend quality time with the alpacas! Our guide was Humberto and he was hilarious! His comments and antics had us laughing the entire time. He would come up with the most outrageous poses that he would then demonstrate to us so that we could do them. You can tell how much he adores the alpacas he works with and how much they trust him as he moves them into position for photos LOL! Such a blast.nnThe alpacas are fluffy, sweet, and adorable. They were shaved for the summer but they left the wool around their heads and legs. I thought it was so funny that they did that! For $25 ish, this experience is totally worth it. He even gave a complimentary gift to our bride which totally made her bachelorette that much better! I will definitely come back or recommend this cute farm to everyone!nnKeep going up the hill until you see alpacas and white picket fences on your right!

Very cute way to spend time with some alpacas. The entrance was a little bit too easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled. The guide was fun but a bit awkward trying to make the animals interact when they are obviously not interested. But we got to feed the alpacas carrots and get lots of pictures with them. The guide was also knowledgeable with any questions you may have.nnYou first visit the males and then the females. There is a water buffalo that you may get a chance to see too but there was not much interaction for us.nnOverall it was a good experience. Probably coming here once is enough.
