Wow... what a hidden gem. I think I would go here rather than the SF Zoo any day of the week! You get right up close with the animals, they have an incredible assortment of really cool animals, and it's no more than a 300 foot walk around the entire property. Awesome! My kids loved it, and it wasn't a huge excursion where they're ready to melt down by the end! Prices are great as well.

Went to the zoo during Covid-19 in September and it was really nice. The zoo limits the number of people who can come to the zoo through their reservation system online and the entrance fee is not expensive at all. There is only one cafe and a stand that sells food so either pack a lunch for your family or eat before going to the zoo. Any part of the zoo that is enclosed is closed. The animals seem to love it since it's very quiet. We enjoyed it and spent about 2 1/2 hrs there. Plenty of areas with sanitizer stations.

Sf zoo is a place worth to spend a day every once awhile work a family especially you have kids. At this time during pandemic, admission is limited so that the park has less people. Because of less people in the park, I feel very relax walking around slowly in a warm sunny day. I have been there many times before but this is the one I enjoy the most.

The San Francisco zoo is a real conservation zoo. Walking around it is apparent that they select animals to live in the zoo and design their exhibits based on whether it would give them a better life or the world a better chance, not the excitement of their visitors. However this creates a truly enriching experience for any visitor young or old where you get to learn about these incredible creatures from people who love and respect them

We had a great day. Weather was a little chilly, just need a sweater. Everyone followed the rules, wearing their masks and keeping their distance. We had pizza for lunch at a dining area. The food was good and the staff disinfectant the tables after each use. We were able to see a lot of animals. The hippo was even putting on a show, swimming around and blowing water.ud83dude0a
