This is a great lagree studio! All the instructors are really kind and enthusiastic about teaching class and you get a great full body workout!
Core Studio offers really intense, yet super fun and challenging workouts. I love all the instructors at Core Studio because they make sure each class is different. They ensure your form is correct and offer modifications to both up-level and decrease the intensity of the moves. You'll be sore for days after your first workout at Core Studio!
Classes are a total body challenge, but results are quick. Marissa is an amazing teacher.
I went to Core Studio (San Mateo) for over a year, and took Core SPX. This class is intense, but I think my strength has definitely improved from taking it. It was intimidating in the beginning, and if I had gone alone or to only a few classes, I probably would have quit. Luckily, I had a Groupon and a buddy, and after my first 10 classes, I was hooked! There are a lot of amazing teachers at this studio, like Maddie and Raizel, but I'd like to give a special shout out to Caryl. I regularly went to her class on Tuesdays, and she really takes the time to get to know people. Caryl's energy is amazing! She is great at describing and demonstrating the moves, queuing modifications, and when she cheers you/the class on it feels genuine (some teachers feel like they are just going through the motions/reading a script).
Best instructors for the lagree method I’ve experienced. Super friendly (they memorize everyone’s names something no other studio does) and pay attention to form, correcting and suggesting as needed. And free parking! :)
