For years, I practiced yoga mainly because I knew it was good for me - mind, body & soul, but the 'drive' wasn't there for me. After taking 12 years of classes from various instructors and studios in the Bay Area, I have FOUND my studio. All Turbo26 instructors are top-notch, genuine and have infectious energy - in their own unique way. The studio space is inspiring, comfortable and well-designed. As an ultra-endurance athlete, I'm always looking for ways to take myself to the next level (body & mind) as well as be happy with where I am. This studio is the perfect complement to my training schedule. So happy I have found it!
I love Turbo 26. Since it opened the quality and diversity of classes gets better and better. Finding a half hour in my day to work on core, flexibility and strength is easy. They have put tremendous energy into creating a clean and inviting space. The staff are excellent.
I LOVE this place and cannot stress it enough. I had never been fit. I never worked out. And the countless attempts I made at trying to go to the gym or follow a YouTube video in my living room left me bored or following the wrong form.nnA friend of mine, living out of state, started taking hot yoga and it inspired me to look at studios nearby. I've always liked yoga, and had spent about a year taking a gentle hatha yoga class in college, but never did vinyasa and never in a heated studio room. I found Turbo 26 online, super close to my job, with great reviews, and an amazing introductory rate of 10 classes for $29 (or two weeks, whichever comes first). Once I've gone to two classes, it was worth it and I ended up being someone who never went to the gym to attending all 10 classes in two weeks.nnI recently switched to an unlimited monthly membership, because I can't imagine staying fit without this place. The classes are short, feel like they go by in a second, but are still challenging. If you only have 30 minutes to spare, you can really feel accomplished after an amazing workout. But if it's your day off and you have stamina, you can stack as many classes as you want (although two has tired me out)! It's great on a busy schedule, and it's located in the super convenient and beautiful Stanford Shopping Center with easy parking, Pressed Juicery next door (and a tempting ice cream store on the other side), and makes it easy to run some errands before or after class.nnI started as a newbie and fit right in. I've taken a few different instructors and all are great. Emily and Jenny are absolutely amazing, making you feel great, coaching your form, but also not letting you give up, just because it's new. The owner Joanna does everything from checking you in at the front desk, to teaching jam-packed classes (hers was definitely an invigorating workout), which is always nice to see.nnI definitely recommend this place. It is a 2-3x a week rhythm for me. If you are into yoga or not into yoga or just trying to get fit, but need somewhere to start, this is a great place that welcomes all levels, all budgets, and all schedules.
Love it! Turbo26 is the perfect place to get as much (or as little) warm yoga as you’re looking for. Great teachers, lovely and clean studio, friendly staff and super flexible schedule of stackable classes. Highly recommended.
Loved the great energy in Julie's classes, I stacked two 26 minute classes for a sweat inducing action packed workout.
