We loved the beach & wish we could stay longer. Ate @ Sunset food truck & that was some of the best food we ever ate. Staff was awesome & very professional & helpful. Lots of work to beautify is going on there & when this covid is behind us, plan to stay a week or more to fully enjoy this beach area. Hope Sunset food truck is still there, want to try everything on the menu,

We had a nice stay for a week at this KOA. Staff is great. Jody was so helpful to work it out so we did not have to move spaces during the week. And Pepper was a tremendous help not only escorting us to our site but he also helped us resolve a electrical issue which our RV renting company could not. Close to Freeway, but with normal earplugs that is not an issue. Amenities were clean and good. Pool, and fire set up would great.

Amenities are great but the spaces are beyond tight! If you don't get anything on the outer edge of campground be prepared to sit within 2 feet of your neighbors. And never mind on bringing an extra car or the one that tows your trailer cause you'll have to park in the street! There is absolutely NO space. But if you don't mind being squished in like sardines then you should be fine and have a great time because the things ti do in the campground are nice.

The facility was pretty much clean and does offer some dishware and pots and pans in each little cabin. My cabin did have some cobwebs on the walls and my shower floor was not white. Also we were not told about $100 deposit that is taken at the time of check-in to ensure that we leave all the dishes washed and take out the trash. Also parking on premises is very strict you must Park in the area designated for your cabin. There is a overflow parking lot outside of the KOA.

Spots were very tight, but we have come to expect that from beach locations. Noise from the 101 took a little getting used to. The park was perfectly located to many attractions. The Bob Jones Trail was an AMAZING and easy 3 mile walk (6 miles r/t) to the beach. Great petting zoo and local farmers market within walking distance also. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. All-in-all a great place to stay!
