Hiked in this trail for the first time, November/22/20.nThe trail starts right in the middle of the campus.nThere’s no parking fee, no entrance fee, I didn’t see bathroom at the trailhead.nMy hike was a loop 7 miles, around 1,200 feet of the elevation gain.nI was started at something very interesting, those architecture graveyard projects, it was fun, I enjoyed a lot.nFollowing the dirt, rock, straight up trail, it leads me to the Serenity Swing, (tree of life).nThe views of the canyon from the peak is truly breathtaking, it’s spectacular place to take a break.nI was ended my hike at the ranch.nIt is not too difficult hike, well maintained trails, no shade, hiking shoes needed, plenty of water, hat, sunblock, snacks.nHappy Hike Everyone!!!

Poly Canyon is a collection of unique and interesting structures/projects that were designed over the years by Cal Poly Architectural students on the outskirts of the Cal Poly campus in the Cal Poly Canyon. The hike to the structures is about a half mile or so and they are all located in a general area. Each project was designed over a year or two and has a different architectural aspect in the design. Well worth a visit if in San Luis Obispo or Cal Poly.

A much more interesting hike than usual. Really fun with the experimental architecture.
