Stupid Vacations (Stupid Vacations) (08/04/2016)
All that remains of the Ah Louis Store is a building and a plaque. Built in 1885 Ah Luis was a merchant and business man. My memories of the store from the 1970’s recall it being a store with odd imported curios. Today it is not a store, just a memory. The building was handed down from generation to generation and rumor has it the great grandson now owns the building. You can look in, and it is a pretty much empty ground floor shop. Who know about upstairs. It is a piece of the local history, and now most of that can be found in history books. Interesting for locals and a walk by for others.

This one remaining store is all that is leftnof a busy Chinatown that once was. Duento prejudice, greed, and stupidity, almostnall else was destroyed....much replacednwith Parking lots of all things.nAh Louis appeared to an amazing mannin his day & the 5 Stars are for him. Thisnstore & the area around it should be usednas a museum to remember & honor thesenpioneers....instead, much has been buriednunder concrete or left to rot in storage.nI also agree with the other reviewer.
