The new airport is such an improvement! I fly back and forth between here and San Antonio to visit my parents so I am very familiar with this airport. The line at security isn't usually very long, even when I travel at the holidays. The open space after security is very relaxing when you have extra time. The cafe at the gates has great snacks and great views. The airport overall is usually very clean, including the bathrooms. The only thing I don't like is how long it takes to get your bag from baggage claim, it can be a very long process for a place with one carousel. This is my absolute favorite airport though.
Very convinient! Small expense increase compared to flying out of a larger airport, but its worth it to avoid the drive and hassle! Security takes less than 5 minutes!
Easy in and easy out. Small check point area with TSA line on occasion however it's typically not that busy. Small snack area, but clean and friendly mid Airport. Long term parking can be expensive though. Getting here 1 hour before a flight is usually enough time to get to gates. Rental car check in by baggage area. No smoking anywhere on site.

The staff was terrific this morning. Even at 5am they were sweet and funny!
