Carey is very patient, inviting, and incredibly helpful. Starting a company, and for the first time, is an overwhelming experience. Carey pieced together my partial research, and provided direction for future efforts in a clear, concise, and unassuming manner. Her depth of understanding of tax law(and changes) provided for a rapid-fire of varied strategies. She is clearly passionate about tax strategy(who knew this was possible?). I will be continually working with Carey due to her full competency and excellent customer service.

Carey is very compassionate, patient, and competent in her field of tax law. Transitioning from one field of practice to another while simultaneously completing my doctorate, Carey effectively helped me understand and gather the correct details for my taxes. Her high level of competence has created a state of comfort and confidence in varied tax strategies and I will continue to work with Carey in the future. We are not a business so our taxes should have been fairly simple. WRONG. Our taxes were not properly inputted and the state caught her mistake. We ended up having to pay the state and fax the state extra documents to prove our income. When I tried to get Carey to help me, I called multiple times with no response and emailed them multiple times. I finally got a response to file an amendment, which the state of Ca told me I would have to pay an extra 200 from that amendment. So we had to cancel the amendment . What a joke. I ended up having to fix the situation myself with no help or response from this place. I paid a fee for sloppy work with zero help to fix their mistake or accountability. I should have just gone to H&R Block. If you own a business, I would advise to look elsewhere if you don't want to run into issues. I cant imagine them trying to deal with a tax return more complicated than my simple tax return.

If you want an office that will truly care about you and will fight for your side, look no further. I have worked with Carey and her team for well over 5 years and I am still impressed with the service I receive every time. They are very knowledgeable, thorough and always return calls, emails promptly. 5 stars!

It was well worth our time to meet with Carey Lampel. She is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and strategic. I would highly recommend engaging with EBS Tax Services if you have a unique tax situation or if you want to legitimately lower your tax liability by leveraging the tax laws.nnAdditionally, Carey is a really nice person, so that is just an added bonus!
