It's smoke all over Puget Sound

What a perfect place to watch the sunset! There weren’t a lot of people here, because it was windy and chilly, but the view made it so worth braving the elements!nThe entire trek to the beach is made up of a series of (a lot of) ramps, making it wheelchair and stroller friendly until you hit the sand. There’s also plenty of parking.nThis beach changes so much with the tide. Make sure you’re watching carefully when the tide is coming in so you don’t get stuck. One side of the beach is sandy and the other is more rocky, but both are nice in their own way.

That's a great Beach spot. Plenty of space to spread out and stay away from people during these COVID-19 times. Really pretty view, the train going by is super fun too.

We were fortunate to get the only empty parking slot at about 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Later we saw cars parked on the nearby streets. I cannot say that the restrooms were poorly maintained, but they were so used, so full and so smelly that I could not avail myself of their service, had to flee. Be prepared before you go.nnNevertheless, this is a beautiful little Northwest sandy beach. In fact it actually stretches, by my estimate, about half a mile north and south. So there is plenty of space to spread out, even with a lot of people there.nnThere are barbecues and picnic tables. Some family parties were celebrating birthdays. The water was beautifully clear and swimmers, wind-surfers, and boaters were enjoying it.nnThere is a woody area for shade, some beautiful large driftwood, and a clear stream feeding the beach. The tide was out and there was a huge band of redolent seaweed. The aroma filled the air, even with a nice breeze. There is a switch-back pedestrian overpass that makes the approach from the parking lot to the beach safe and easy.nnIt's about 15 minutes northwest of Alderwood Mall, 35 minutes from the Admiral District in West Seattle (during the time of the WS Bridge being closed). Whether you picnic or not, this is a very pleasant outdoor diversion. Highly recommend!

Water was awesome.. beach is really nice... gave it three stars due to lack of parking to match the interest and the apparent issue of people cleaning the area after their dogs do the dew... On top of that, if you're on crutches, I recommend postponing the beach trip... long ways to hike on those.
