Stopped by here after a day in DTLA. Looked up online for a Chinese food restaurant. This place had good online reviews, so y friend and I went there. Small restaurant in a neighborhood shopping center. So here is my mixed review on this place. First we ordered foil wrapped chicken. The chicken was very fatty. Next we ordered the Chicken and vegetables. It was very tasty. I ordered a spicy honey chicken that also had broccoli. It was not spicy at all. Some of the chicken was very dry or possibly old while other pieces were moist. The fried rice also had no flavor. On the positive side, there was enough food for 4 people. This was a Tuesday night and no other customers. So I don't know if it was just an off night or what.

I love egg foo yong and this place did not disappoint! This place also states they have the best honey walnut shrimp, and I give their version two thumbs up!! Batter was perfectly thin. Some places have too much batter that it falls off the shrimp; not from here! I tried ordering online but I got a message that they don't deliver to my hotel. I called them to check and they delivered! They said 30 minutes and they arrives 2 minutes early. Delicious!! Try them!

This is easily my favorite Chinese restaurant. My go-to menu items are gourmet wor wonton soup, house pan fried noodles, and the chicken and eggplant. I miss you, Bamboo Garden! I can’t wait until you reopen!
