Rabbi Paltiel was always warm , friendly and hospitable to me. This was probably one of the few Chabads I felt welcomed and actually enjoyed being with the Rabbi. This rabbi also is a good listener and seems to care genuinely about the members of his shul. Sadly, this shul is so far away I cannot attend it anymore and they don't have evening services. However, I am no longer attending Chabad, since I have accepted Mizrachi minhag and do not really follow any Chassidic/Lubavitcher teachings. However, even though I don't want to be affiliated with Chabad, I would feel fine coming to this shul just to make tefillot/daven with other Jewish people.

The Chabad organization relocated Rabbi Berel Paltiel and his family to Lynnwood, WA (from Brooklyn, NY) to create a new congregation - and help fill the void of temples that exists between Everett and downtown Seattle. Brooklyn's loss proves to be Lynnwood's gain.nnRabbi Paltiel is dynamic, intelligent, and personable; his congregation, following his example, is engaging, warm, and welcoming. I enjoy the camaraderie I find there, just as I do the many intelligent discussions. You will too.nnIn mid-August 2016, the Chabad moved 1/2 mile north to its new location, thanks to Rabbi Paltiel and his rapidly growing congregation.
