Very nice park by the river. We were just passing by and decided to stop there for a quick picnic. The kids at a blast and so did we. I imagine that this park is very popular during the summer months. Must visit if in the area.

Serene place to take a stroll or bring your family. Right next to the river so on hot days its easy to take a dip. And the river is super shallow on this side so not terribly dangerous. It is ice water tho so please wear life jackets (supplied by parks service).

My favorite place in the world. Great place to recreate. Hiking swimming. Deer turkey and all kinds of different birds. The best part is the people Always friendly. Park Rangers and maintenance workers friendly and professional. This place makes America great!

River Bend Park is a great place to go and enjoy nature. It's so beautiful, clean and big. We went during covid-19 and were able to distance well. The water looks super clear and beautiful reflecting in the sunshine.nIt is recommended to come prepared if one is gonna float down the river. First and foremost bring sunscreen and sun protection like sunglasses and a hat. Bring some refreshments and a garbage bag to not leave them. Bring a tube, some rope, pumps and a paddle. Don't forget to bring a towel!
