Beautiful area. Good views due to 2017 Eagle Creek Burn. Herman Creek Trail intersects with famous Pacific Crest Trail. Waterfall area and creek within short hiking distance. Its a good workout and a wonderful mental break from the overcrowded trails and weirdos that frequent the hiking areas closer to Portland. This one seems to be a bit of a secret.
There are so many amazing trails that start here! Absolutely gorgeous
Signs are posted indicating it’s closed.
Small parking lot, room for 10 to 12 cars. really enjoyed the trail that I was able to get to today, and hope to be back soon.
Great hike!! Was peaceful and not crowded in early October.
