This trail is amazing from start to finish! So much life and beauty in this area. We tried to walk the entire length of this trail but couldn't. We settled for ending at the BEAUTIFUL waterfall (pictured). We were able to climb down to the bottom and enjoy the cool waters for ourselves. We ate our lunches (bugs didn't even bother us). Go out and enjoy this natural treasure! I would definitely recommend to my friends and family!

As of beginning of April 2019, the trail is closed. I did this trail a week before the Eagle Creek Fire (2 years back?), and it was amazing! Unfortunately, I didn't get to explore the new charred nature. Instead, I ended up on Herman Creek Trail, which was also burnt, with unmaintained, covered with fallen rock and some debris trail. As a natural world, it was spiritually uplifting non-the-less.

This was such a beautiful place. I have fond memories of hikes in every season, but shudder to think what the fire has done to the landscape and how long it will take to return to the beauty I remember. Fireworks aren't toys, kids...

This trail offers such an amazing variety of scenery with a beautiful end at Tunnel Falls.

Love this hike for an introduction. Very flat and nice scenery. There is a couple sketchy spots some times though with the trail running close to the river. Be safe out there. Great hike!!
