Goodwill Mt. Vernon

I have had issues with dropping items off at the thrift stores in Oak Harbor, so I decided to try Goodwill in Mt Vernon. They were very friendly and accepted all the items I was offering. There was about a 10 car wait to donate items, but the line went quickly.

Due to covid 19 they're better health policies and practices will take longer due to the nature. Normally it takes 5 minutes to get through the line today it took 45 minutes. Also prepare to get everything out of your car yourself. If you have big furniture bring friends. The staff cannot help migrate any items out of your vehicle.

I always find some type of magic treasure whenever I come here, whether I had planned on it or not. This particular Goodwill location is one of the better ones in my opinion.

Lucky to give one star. Bee going here for years. I have oxygen portable as I have copd. And they will not let me In with out a mask. Seriously so against the the ADA. This is ridicilious. Won't get another dime from me . Sad very sad.

Not going to leave a negative review but a humble recommendation for those looking to donate: find a mom and pop thrift shop. I have been misinformed of the donation hours four times now and have spent as many hours idling behind the store waiting to donate. If you are looking to donate here plan for no less than an hour, and come early.
