My husband and I purchased a wood stove from Loretta (mount Vernon Coastal) Loretta is a five start Excellent customer service rep. Loretta is very knowledgeable about wood stoves it made the purchase quick and easy. A week after taking the stove home the latch that was not working properly and Loretta took care of us very quickly. We also were experiencing a back flow of smoke when we first lite the wood stove. After speaking to Loretta she explained how the stove actually works and asked all the right questions to figure out our problem, which ended up being the interior pipe we had been using. Loretta had suggested when we bought the stove we may want to replace the old pipe and we thought it would be fine. We were wrong, we were not sure of the height and she suggested the telescope pipe double wall and wow! I went in the Mount Vernon store. Not one person asked if we needed help. If I didn't need the weedeater they had I would have walked out. We waited 30 minutes before we finally got someone to help us get what we needed. Sales person took the weed eater to the backroom and said it would be gased up and ready to pickup upon leaving.45 min later they finally showed up with the Weed Eater. My wife operates the weedeater but not once did the salesperson address the operational options to her . Women should not be ignored when purchasing any type of equipment.nOperating literature for the specific equipment beeing purchased should be kept with same instead of running through the store looking for someone to answer questions and then not knowing the answers to your specific questions. Very poor customer service! I won't spend time or money in any coastal farm&ranch stores in the future. Sales personnel were very short on attitude and knowledge. Weed eater had no gas in it like they said they were going to do. Never again!

Have to love this place. Great friendly customer service. Good prices on quality merchandise. Carhartt and other great Brands here. They always have something on sale or special to give you more value for your dollar.

on august 5 I was attempting to shop at the Mt. Vernon location of Coastal. I was wearing my face mask, covering my mouth and just under my nose. I was asked at the door to cover my nose with it. I said no thank you it steams my glasses up. While I was shopping, I was tracked down in the store and told to cover up or I could go somewhere else to shop. I do not appreciate being treated like a criminal. I will not shop here again nor will I refer other people. Very bad customer service
