Stowe's Shoes & Clothing

This store has some items I have never seen anywhere else. They have a huge variety of high quality items, and just outstanding customer service. They have works cloths, hiking clothes, out door clothes, camping clothes fishing clothes.nAnd, shoes for all of the same. Hats, waders, jackets, coats, gloves.nJust an amazing selection and variety of footwear.

The one thing about Stowes Shoes and Clothing that keeps me coming back is the service and selection. There is not a harder working family, that is so humble and proud of what the community they have created in Skagit County.nnI received from my first gift from Stowe’s almost 20 years ago, and I still order from them for my needs (I live in Pierce County now). They go out of their way to assist me, and ensure I feel that I am the only customer they’re helping at the help.nnIf you want the BEST service with an amazing selection, there is no where else you need to go.

Really nice selection of quality shoes. The prices are high IF you're used to going to Payless, BUT these shoes will outlast the cheapos. Big selection of sale and clearance shoes too.nnHeads up to first timers: this is old school service. You will have an assistant helping you find things, fetching you sizes, etc.nnKnow at least some of what you want when you come in. I.e. 'Dansko', 'Work shoes', 'hiking shoes', 'steel toes', and they will show you what they have. If you know what to expect, you'll have a great time and come back again.nnThere are other assistants that are there that stand around, the first time I went in it felt a little intimidating (am I not allowed to look on this rack? Do they think I'm stealing?), but nah. They are just waiting for someone to assist. Ignore them, and focus on YOUR helper. :)
