I love to walk across the bridge, the view is absolutely stunning! Plus there's some gorgeous hiking trails beneath the bridge. You just have to be careful driving across it, since it is a one lane bridge so you have to look out for oncoming traffic. But it's a very tranquil spot, and I highly recommend
Didn't get any pictures there was just no place to stop for a good shot. When I came upon the bridge I had a oh hell no moment. I challenge myself because I don't like hills. ud83dude32...this was insane. Got across turned around went back and did it again. Really amazing view...long way down.
Have to step out and appreciate the older engineering on this bridge! Reminded us of an old wooden rollercoaster
Beautiful place for a hike! I totally recommend it. I'd bring a dog or a hiking buddy at least.
This is a charming old one lane bridge. There's a noticeable odour of creosote to protect itself from rain. The north east side of the bridge has the entrance to the melmont trail. The entrance is made up of a very steep decline but there's a handle to help you climb up and down.
