This park is no longer accessible due to a major landslide. The entire slope shifted dramatically, severely damaging the access trails and leaving the entire area overgrown with weeds & nettles. If you want to explore the aftermath there is a collapsing outhouse and a rusted stove near the former campsites. Long pants and hiking shoes are strongly recommended. Arriving from the water there is a small rocky beach hidden between downed trees, but it’s indiscernible from the rest of the western shoreline.
Peaceful quiet and beautiful! ! Highly recommend this getaway
