This is a great place for picnic with young kids and family. They have military discount. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back. It is casual and serene with corn hole, bocci ball, animal farm for kids to feed and of course the gieser. It is BYOB which is perfect for having smaller kids. There are nice gazebos and lawn furniture everywhere.

Big grounds with lots of tables and chairs. My kids enjoyed the animals but didn't think the geyser was all that impressive. If you go they have a small building with historical information and some science charts and things that were interesting and worth the time. Bocci was a fun way to wait for the geyser. Groupons make it less expensive.

What an excellent day! Beautiful Old Faithful. We celebrated a friend's birthday picnic style . brought in our own food and drinks..it was awesome.

Great place to visit with young children. The geyser is nice even though not massive. Explanations are simple but clear, the mini museum on the right is great to learn the basics of geology. There is an area with goats and lama that kids will enjoy. Plenty of picnic tables with shades so it is recommended to bring your own food and spend a few hours there.

had a blast watching the geyser and petting the goats. they weren't letting people feed which was a little disappointing, wish we would have known that before but I did not see it on their site
