It's a private property,so it's not allowed to go inside and visit the place. It looks nice,very unique and we took some photos in front of Floating Taj Mahal. This is a kind of house on the water. It's one of Sausalito attractions,walking distance from the center.

There are two types of floating homes, those that permanently float and homes that float only when flood waters swell, but sit on the ground during the dry season.nnThe most famous of the Sausalito houseboats, is the Taj Majal, a miniature version of the Taj Mahal in India. For the last four decades, it has been a private home.nnIt was a bed and breakfast for a few years. Imagine visiting and staying in this rather unique floating home.nnIf in the area, don't miss the opportunity to visit!
