Epic views and possibly the best campsite on the island. Easy to walk to from the ferry terminal. Only remote downside is the pit toilet/outhouse smelled something fierce but the smell didn't make it to the campsite. There's a neat beach to walk around on just south, southeast from the campsite too. Great views of the city, bridges, and bay especially at night.

Amazing Campground! Need to reserve very early since it fills up fast. Incredible views! Lots to explore. Filled with history.

View from outside my tent. Went mid February - some overnight rain but otherwise gorgeous and peaceful.

A great place to go for 4th of July and watch the fireworks in San Francisco and do the segwades tour...ud83dude00 Looks much brighter and beautiful in person! ud83dude2e

Our favorite Angel Island campsite. Some shade & windbrake, great views. Look for the vultures in the nearby dead tree overlooking the Bay Bridge. Warning: be wary of the raccoons stealing food or items smelling like food from tents.
