Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Ordered two meat plates for takeout food was good unfortunately they forgot one of our sides called the manger Ashley said we will just refund that side back for you. Now the price came out to 46$ I feel the amount of food you get is worth it. Order was ready when online predicted for pick up. So if your feeling like BBQ this is the place.

I've been here a few times. No complaints over food. DELICIOUS. However, anytime I've ordered food to go, there's always something forgotten. Today (10/2). As I order to go, I only got side items, and cornbread. I didn't realize until I got home, no cornbread! I call to let them know, and I go back, which is not fun at the time of day on meridian. I guess they try to comp me with 2 extra cornbread... I ordered 4, and I get old broken off cornbread!! (Pic posted on their Google page). There was only 2 fresh looking ones. Guess it'll be another long while til I come here again.

Ordered through Uber eats. PO-boys is much better. The boxes weren’t prepared very well and what I would assume is the brisket and the pulled pork, tastes exactly the same just the texture is slightly different so I could differentiate them, but they were pretty much blended together in the box. The noodles to the Mac and cheese were overcooked. The wings we got we just dry wings (which is what I ordered). They tasted like charcoal so it seems like their smoker might need to be cleaned out. Those had no other flavor to them. The okra and onions we got as sides had no flavor at all. They just tasted like breading.nnI have never dined into the restaurant, just decided to try it out so we didn’t have to leave the house. I will likely not be ordering from them again.

Restaurant was filthy the tables have not been cleaned since who knows how long and certainly not after every time someone uses, the food clearly had been out the entire day by 6:30pm everything was cold and old and disgusting, I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy, My daughter and I are up at 4:45am the next day crapping our brains out. Meat flavorless, mac and cheese overcooked, beans taste like someone poured a fake smoke flavoring that had a chemical taste liberally into. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!!!!!!!!

So yummy! Pulled Pork and Beef Brisket with their original sauce a must have! You can taste the smoky flavor in the chicken breast. Definitely going back for the cornbread.
