I’ve never recommended a gym in my life, but Crossfit Gig Harbor certainly deserves it. David has a fantastic philosophy both in and out of the gym. Through his training, he has helped me avoid injury, lose weight, get stronger, faster, and reduce recovery times. His focus on technique, stability, and the often forgotten muscles have been instrumental to my success. Additionally, the other coaches have been extremely helpful in following that same philosophy. Amazing program and community.

It’s funny how things work out. About 8 years ago I stumbled onto this gym and was curious so I stopped by and chatted with David, he was very welcoming and down to earth. He told me about his approach to fitness and coaching style and it seemed like the perfect gym for me but for whatever reason it took me another 6 years before I returned to actually take my first class.nAt age 51, and with chronic back pain and mobility issues from an injury in my 20’s, I started working out at CrossFit Gig Harbor 3 days a week with the hope of improving mobility and my level of fitness. I had no idea it would become my home away from home. I can’t remember the last day I missed; it’s my daily shot in the arm and my fitness level is far beyond what I ever expected. I’m at the gym 5-6 days a week now and it has changed my life and reset any preconceived ideas about what life after 50 should be. At 53 I am in the best shape of my life and I’m still what I would consider to be a rookie at this fitness thing. It doesn’t matter what level you are at. The coaches at CrossFit Gig Harbor will address your needs and encourage you in your journey to physical fitness. I am continually impressed with their level of expertise, camaraderie, and sense of community. Give yourself an honest 90 days, it will change your life!

This gym is fantastic! David (the owner) is super friendly and very helpful. The coaches in general do a great job in pointing out issues with form to really help you get as strong as possible. They also include a cardio and yoga class which really pushes you to have great endurance. I’m so impressed with this gym and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

The owner is a great guy. Very knowledgeable and cares a lot about every members fitness and health concerns. This gym is suitable for a wide array of different fitness levels, and has a fantastic workout program in place. Definitely recommend it!

CrossFit Gig Harbor is amazing! I started coming about a month ago and was brand new to CrossFit. Everyone was so nice and supportive, I was a little nervous trying a completely new workout but everyone made me feel so at home. The coaches are awesome and motivating, they continually give me one on one guidance to help me learn the correct CrossFit form and technique. The veteran members are also great at giving me tips on how to better my form. I ask them for advice all the time and they are always happy to help. It really feels like a family of people supporting each other. It’s not only a fantastic workout but the kindest group of people. I look forward to coming here everyday! I am so thankful to be a part of this amazing gym and community!
