There is a dead cat carcass on the way in that reeks, the trail is not maintained, and when I say it's not maintained, I mean it. It's like there was a trail here before but it's not used anymore and you have to duck through the muddy part of the trail. Once you get in it smells like raw sewage, and there's nowhere to go once you get across the water, there's a trail, but it seems to end in both directions quite prematurely.nnMaybe there's a way through, but it's not worth it to me to have to essentially create my own trail. But the sewage smell is just so overpowering, I don't think it would matter if the trail was maintained.nnA problem in the Tacoma area is that a lot of parks seem to be there to cover up a sewage problem, and it's less costly to have it a park than to dig up and completely re-do piping.

I wish it was fenced in from the main street to make it safer for kids.

Interesting Park the trail is overgrown a lot of the area is muddy be prepared to duck download to even get through the trail this park is not maintained although the trail does go for pretty long ways it twists and whines through a swampy type area it's pretty much a ravine undisturbed with lots of plants and wildlife unfortunate this trail is not maintained it could be a really beautiful walk but unfortunately it's hard to navigate and will be uncomfortable for most people.

Unique, quiet, secluded. One trail...
