Nice place to WORSHIPnNICE MUSLIM ENVIRONMENT
As a New Muslim I enjoy the people there.
I’ve grown up on this place for probably over 10 years and in the past few years have been very disappointed with it. They closed off the women’s section for jummah and turned it into a second men’s section, and sometimes open up one of the open neighboring stores for women — always uncomfortable places, currently at the grocery store next store where it is so loud and busy it’s near impossible to hear the khutba.nnOn the last night of taraweeh this year, the man asking for fundraisers had the audacity to say something along the lines of “you women want equality but don’t donate an equal amount” in an attempt to encourage us to donate. I was livid that a place that doesn’t even invest in their women would make such a ridiculously degrading comment towards women in order to make us donate. Disappointing.
This is a small masjid. I stopped by on Sunday around noon and it was open. There were kids learning Quran. There is a nice wudu area inside and It’s convenient to stop by and do your prayer. Thank you and don’t forget to donate:)
Every Friday the Management Brings A Learned Scholar to Lecture on Islam before Juma Prayers. One gains lot of Guine knowledge.nnAfter Prayers there are Shanawaz Grocery, one can buy weekly PK & ARABIC GROCERY, there one feels as if living in PK like me.nnThere are as well, a PK Service Restaurant, Beauty Store and money transfer services & of course comfortable Auto Parking lot too.nnPlease visit one Time to have a Taste of the Place.nnThanks
