Trick Or Treat:Lights Out

Are you afraid of the dark?nnTrick or Treat : Lights Out at Knott's Scary Farm masterly plays upon our primordial fear of the dark & unseen. With the motif of a haunted house, brave souls (and wannabes) are handed low output gimmick flashlights & told to ring the doorbell. As the door slowly creeks open, the fright adventure begins.nnI had a total blast navigating this scare maze. Armed with only a cheap flashlight, I scurried my way through the haunted house, quickly shifting the light beam back & forth, awaiting the next undead creature to pop out in front of me. Quite the thrill!nnOf course, scare mazes are exponentially more fun when accompanied by scaredy cats. I purposely tried to provide hints to the ghouls that my companions would scream like banshees once approached, so they wouldn't waste their scares on me and save them for my wuss buddies. Let's just say....................mission accomplished!nnBeing the first scare maze I participated in at this year's Knott's Scary Farm, the bar was set high & thought no other maze would top this. Later on, after completing all the scare mazes, in my humble opinion, Trick or Treat : Lights Out & Special Ops : Infected are tied for best Knott's Scary Farm mazes, for somewhat different reasons.nnTrick or Treat : Lights Out is a must! It's located by the entrance, so line up early to avoid the huge line later on in the night.nnHighly recommend!
