Ascent is a great community! Workouts are fun and always a little different - you can add weights or use modifications to make them fit you where you’re at. It’s a warm and friendly atmosphere - I can’t imagine a better environment to get stronger.

I am recently a new member with Ascent Fitness as of a month ago or so and I'm loving everything about it! The community is great. I cant wait for the big move to their own space.

I've been training with Marissa for give or take the last 5 years. I've learned a lot from her as a coach and it's been hugely important as I navigated being an athlete in school to an adult without a formal team and workout schedule.nnWhat stands out about Ascent Fitness and the owner Marissa is the confidence I've fostered during my time at the gym. I am currently enrolled in Ascent's Approach Course, meant to teach functional movements and weight lifting. Learning how to lift properly and feel my body physically stronger is incredibly empowering, especially as a woman. I love having the same group of people in each class, which really helps accountability and gives a sense of community. Marissa balances 1:1 teaching with management of the group great during class and I always feel comfortable asking questions. The class is fun, varied and has SO MUCH ROOM to work with.nnThe facility is HUGE, there is turf to work on sprinting form, run ladders and other agility programs which I appreciate as an Ultimate Frisbee player! It's incredibly clean and has ample parking.nnLast, but not least, I've enjoyed being a part of the Ascent community because I love being in the outdoors! Having a regular fitness routine keeps my mind and body healthy. I can jump on a climbing trip on a moments notice because I feel confident mentally and physically.

Love the community here. I'm getting back to basics with natural movement and seeing progress in my body. I feel better and don't dread working out anymore! This is a comfortable non judgmental environment and the group's are small.
