Good deli style sandwiches. Very good mustard. Had an amazing brisket sandwich on rye bread with a cherry soda. The barb b que sauce was tantalizing scintillating on the palette.
During the covid , they don’t serve fresh food. The cold slaw was very old & didn’t taste good. Very disappointed
Great for a quick lunch if you work around the area. The outside isn’t the most inviting but trust me once you walk in you’ll love the homey atmosphere with the most friendly waitresses who make you feel like family. I first got four complimentary pickles on my desk while I was choosing my meal. Yum! I got the roast beef sandwich and this is the slim size! It’s portion is more than enough with a nice size of potato salad. Expect to spend $20-30 for a lunch with drink/dessert.nEnjoy!
Great food, and still open during covid. Not much of outdoor seating but it exists.
Traveled very far to get chopped chicken liver sandwich. Not as good as my mom’s or grandma’s but That was 75 years ago and definitely next best. Delicious. Pickle was even the best. Just wonderful memories. The only thing missing was the sound of my mom making it. Thanks for the memories, Nate n Al! As for the review that it’s heavy food, Ashkenazi food IS heavy. Mmm!
