My first impressions before I went was that it was whatevers... I mean it's just hand rolls... how good can it be... well I was wrong! The warm rice was a really nice touch and the fact that it was freshly made was amazing. I would highly recommend going for the 5 roll menu because it comes with the scallops which is awesome smooth texture. there's often a line so take that into account.
Best poke I've had in LA in 2 years. Ill be coming back for sure. Miso wasn't as clean mouthfeel as I was hoping, but the poke was excellent. Great for a curbside takeout picnic.
I would've given them a four stars for food if the service was better. The staff made a 90-year-old gentleman wait outside when they could've been seated downstairs. Also the music was way too loud. That fried cheese was underwhelming everything else was OK. Comparing it to the restaurants around the area this was only okay. The shrimp/ ebi tasted off... (food regret later tonight) everything else was decent.
One of the best tasting Poke bowls I’ve had in a while! Thanks guys!
