This is a marshland park, with small catch & release fishing docks tucked away, up & down the park this is a park with lots of waterfowl, you will not get close to the water at this park. It is built this way because its a Marshland preserve! Swampy, low flow water behind the tall bull rushes, large boulders and full size marsh plants keeping the waters edge as natural as possible.nYou won't dip your finger in or look for little minnows that the ducks are eating, because its not that kind of water, think of it as a river that would be hard to maneuver through the bushes and tall reeds to get to so you kinda see it from afar.nA beautiful park with nice winding trails on lots of landscaped land. Nice play areas, wide open spaces , parking in lot or on street.nGeese, large ducks, small ducks.

One of my favorite places...wooded areas here. Great place for peace and some degree of privacy in a very busy Los Angeles County. Also,, the very cruisy spots are across the levy in the woods.nBest place in the Greater Los Angeles area to cruise, dependant upon that which you seek.

The park is cool and serene especially if you come early. Great for family outings.nnA great walking path to get your steps in and over 40species of birds to see here if you are into that. The lake is a great habitat for the animals.
